SI 1 SFB Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I have a 313bhp 07 plate and have noticed lately that when the engine is cold it is idling at 2000 revs for the first mile or two, then when the engine is hot it will run anywhere between 700 -1100 at idle, is this a characteristic or is there a problem looming?? rtbiscuit Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 mine idles at about 500 at the moment, but my drive to work is so short, i don't tend to notice the idle once i pull away. plus its in a garage over night, it doesn't get that cold. Quote
narcotix Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I asked a similar question a while back as I thought my revs were higher than normal too ... My Zed is currently iding at 600 rpm with the heater and AC turned off ... and about 700 - 800 rpm with the heater/AC turned on .... Quote
