martinmac Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 It does take a while Martin. Get some fishing line or dental floss behind it while you are heating it and put some pressure on it. You will soon see it lift and then it will be easier. Quote

Different method though Got an old butter knife slid paper up against the Nissan bit to protect paint pointed Hairdrier at Knife, went in from Underside Took 1 minute!!! Quote

Different method though Got an old butter knife slid paper up against the Nissan bit to protect paint pointed Hairdrier at Knife, went in from Underside Took 1 minute!!! Pretty much exactly what I did: started with the hairdryer for about 1 minute and realised I was looking like a prat using it so adopted an alternative method and took about 60s as you say Every time I read about someone using a hairdryer for the job now, I have a bit of a to myself Quote
