Just need to locate the air lock valve when you refit and squeeze the pipes to get rid of any air!! The top hose should not lose too much fluid but the other one might cause a bit of leakage uness you're really quick! I'll have a go at the weekend. Thanks for the suggestion. Any idea where the air lock valve is? Quote
sunset350z Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I'm sure once you've changed the hoses, you can just let the engine run on idle, leave the rad cap off, and top up with coolant. All the air bubbles will escape through the open rad that way. Give the bottom hose a sqeeze a few times as well. Quote

What coolant do you recommend for topping up - do you use Nissan's own? Quote
sunset350z Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Yes, if your car has been serviced with nissan then top up with nissan's own brand. Quote
sunset350z Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Just bought some coolant from nissan when i picked up my throttle body gasket, it was just over 4 quid for a litre, bargain Quote
