The bonnet dampers I have currently fitted are quite stiff on the metal bonnet, no doubt they will be too strong for the carbon bonnet. Any recommendations? Quote

Stew Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Something worth remembering is that generally an aftermarket carbon bonnet weighs the same as the aluminium bonnet already fitted. 3fiddyz posted a link to a strut company yesterday and I'm sure they used to supply ESR. Quote

Muddy Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 Thanks for the help so far. My current dampers are far too stiff, I can feel the pressure on the metal bonnet when I try and close it so don't even want attempt on a CF bonnet. I'll have a look at Mark's post. Quote
