daveg7362 Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 New emblems arrived look fantastic, I'm off to Ireland this weekend to watch the 4 nations, so I will have to wait till next week to fit them, I will post some pictures when i've fitted them Quote
loafer77 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Just dragging this subject up again: I've fitted the satin 'burger' badges front and rear. The badges are no way curved enough for the rear hatch/tailgate. There is a definite gap (2-3mm) at the top and bottom. Front is obviously fine. Is this the same for everyone elses??? Received some of these the other day (these are the ones i originaaly wanted) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260376278009&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&viewitem= and these have the same problem if trying to fit to the rear. I guess i will try to pack the gap with some shaped adhesive pad. Quote
Stew Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 When I changed the burgers I held the badge in place (full weight lean onto my finger tips) for about 10 mins after heating the sticky pad a little. Mine stuck perfectly to the rear hatch. Quote
Jay Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 When I changed the burgers I held the badge in place (full weight lean onto my finger tips) for about 10 mins after heating the sticky pad a little. Mine stuck perfectly to the rear hatch. + 1 no problems for me Quote

Pimm Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Both mine have come a little unstuck i held them in place for a little while aswell. I am not going to risk breaking them in taking them off so they will have to stay as they are. At least they are not upside down though Quote
