  1. But like rtbiscuit said, its not exactly a big deal is it? I prefer them not to have them to be honest.
  2. I had a 'new' set of Rays a couple of months ago from my main dealer and there are no blue dots on them either. Doesn't really bother me tbh. They definitely look new and not refurbed
  3. Is it too late to jump in on these? Cleaned the car at w/e and found the drivers side has a nasty crack in. Perfect excuse to swap them out (facelift version) Thanks,
  4. They do look good but unfortunately mine started to peel off on the passenger side after a few months. That was after careful shaping and cleaning the surfaces as well Mine are currently sitting in my kitchen waiting for my lazy ass to sort out some new backing for them. (they peeled off alarmingly easy as well ) Does look a lot better with them than without though.
  5. In the interest of fair balance. I should just say that I recently used Glynn Hopkin Colchester for my P3/MOT and warranty work and have no complaints. Things to bear in mind are: 1) Price of £310 for the P3 had to be haggled to. 2) The MOT is free for life if the car is purchased from them. So thats a fair saving. 3) I didn't need a courtesy car. 4) I told them not to wash it. I got a complete set of new Rays through warranty and had no difficulty at all. All the work was carried out on the service to my satisfaction. I actually work on the same estate as GBH and they have supplied tyres on my car but have not used them for any mechanical work (Still in warranty). So it would be good to know how they are.
  6. Good info..... Put mine on this afternoon and it looks 100 times better than the big lumpy thing that was on there before. (The one in my avatar).
  7. i have a Kenwood unit that does this as well. Pretty annoying tbh. Only seems to compensate at low volumes though. If you find the link or solution please let us know.

    P3 and Oil

Just shows how wildly erratic the dealerships are. I've just had a P3 done for £310 all in and the oil only came to £15 on the invoice.

    P3 and Oil

Have you checked how much the dealer will knock off if you take them your own oil? Reason i ask is that i tried the same with my dealer and was told the difference in cost would only be about £10 due to the dealers buying their oil in huge bulk quantities. Worth checking before you buy your own.
  10. 1. Rtbiscuit - red - plain 2. Grantmitchell - 2 x red with silver dots 3. loafer77 - Black - plain 4. 5.
  11. Agreed, but if thats not possible then i'll definitely take one of the black ones as pictured (1st option). Well done on getting this sorted
  12. +1 can't wait to see what he's come up with
  13. Agreed, i've just booked a P3 in Colchester for £310. That was after haggling it down twice. The starting price was £404
