OEM cd player play cd-rw?

Haven't seen this aswered, tried googling but couldn't find an answer.

 

Before I burn a CD-RW and waste my time - will it work? Ta.

I think I've seen topics on this before. Isn't the general consenus that it doesn't play any form of CD-R or CD-RW?

 

I've bought one of those iPod tranmitters for the car so I can listen to some of the music I've put into playlists.

Mine does, well most of them anyway. Non Bose one anyway

My old bose used to play CDRs fine, not sure about CDRWs though

My '08 Non-bose takes CDRs and CDRWs fine.

yeah no probs with "back - up" cd's

 

i think people are mixed up by saying they dont work, i reckon they are thinking of mp3 cd's which dont work, no probs with audio at all

Thanks all! I haven't even tried cd-rw as I assumed they wouldn't work - they never worked in my IS200, and I assumed a similar setup in the 350z.

I have a GT spec, with bose and mine work perfect, think most of my cd's are CDR's
