can someone confirm:

 

the pre facelift interior i.e. non silver gear shift surround

this engine was only on the gt4 models? or was it on late 2006?

 

otherwise, it was found in facelift with the silver gear shift surrond?

 

*excluding the new higher engine model with the bonnet buldge

The 296 bhp engine was first seen in the GT4 with the older interior and later used in 2006 models with the facelift interior.

yeah mines the 296 model which is a 56plate. got silver gear stick and silver nobs and bits. i think they described the new interior as having a soft touch materials around the cabin aswell.

Mine has a silver ring around the leather gaitor but its not a facelift, easy way to tell is the silver heater controls

Upgraded 2006 UK interior (Brodit phone holder, snooper power lead and added power socket excluded )

 

 

+ cup holders in each door panel you can't see in the pic - the former cupholder on the passenger side was changed to a business card holder but I use it for coins for parking/toll roads.

Nope. The 296 engines were introduced about Spring 2006 (but had been used in the GT4's) - sorry but as far as I am concerned someone is advertising that car as something it isn't Expect it was 'old' stock being registered later in the year.
