NISSAN 350Z CARBON FIBRE B PILLARS

 

350Z Carbon fibre B pillars, made from real carbon fibre. This part fit's perferctly over the original B pillar that is allready in place, a simple mod and improves the look of your 350Z.

Well i have these stuck on my car, and have had no problems with them at all and sold a few on here all ready, let us know if you want a pair and ill stick them in tommorrows psot for you !!!!!!!!!! :thumbs:

Don't stick them on in the cold. I think that was my problem! :thumbs:

Hairdryer is your fiend for these,

 

Instructions

1)Remove pillar cover from passanger side, The black pillar sections on the car unclip with 3 poppers

2) Go back inside in the warm

3) Clean up the pillar cover with alcohol wipes,

4) Remove a small section of the backing from the CF

5) Position

6) Remove a small section of the backing a bit at a time

7) Heat with a hairdryer for maxim stickyness!

8) Go back to car

9) Line up the poppers

10) Tap with the side of your fist till you hear all 3 poppers are back in place

11) Stand back and admire your handy work

12) Decide what your going to do next!

 

For drivers side, start at 1) again.

I've fallen at the first hurdle - can't get the pillars off the car! They are very reluctant to shift and I am scared to apply too much force in case I break them. :scare:

Did you use some sort of implement to remove them?

I dont think you can remove the orgignal ones from the car, i think that was ment for if you have had some put on, not 100% but me thinks so ...........

If you have one of those paint pot lid removers they may help, but just getting your fingers under the edge is enough as you will know how much pressure to use!

 

Got them off this morning - Thanks.

 

One think I noticed is that a couple of small bits of black rubber fell out when I took them off. They look like pieces of wire sheathing about 3mm long, with a split along their length. I guess they should be used to pack out or protect something under there, but I've no idea where to replace them. Any ideas?
