Unknown part - rectangular plastic behind rear view mirror

Please could someone let me know what the rectangular bit of plastic is which is stuck to the windscreen behind the rear view mirror and has a wire running into the roof. I can't see anything in the manual and its driving me nuts!

Thanks for clarifying, yes my Z is the GT version. I'll just go ahead and stick it back on then!

Its not the mic for the BT its the aerial for it. In the early days people used to pull it out as far as possible and stick as far left as it would go to get an improved reception for making and recieving calls.

Ah didnt know that,thought it was the mic. I never used the built in hands free as I have it on my HU

nothing to do with the bluetooth side of things but an extension of the aerial for the old type car phone system
