That haggis we had at the Applecross Inn for the lunch stop on the Hoon was real yummy - best of the ones that I tried while in Scotland. Does anyone know what it was? ;)

It was done with drambuie or something I think. It was good actually.

 

I was impressed with the menu that was put on. I asked for local with a Scottish theme. I think they delivered that!

Drambuie and cream. :D Worked very well and for a fixed price I was very suprised at the standard and range of the choices :thumbs: A definate result Stew.

I have the image of those Deli shelves engraved in my brain after 3 years doing 5am starts when i was a student!

 

Working at Costco man and boy eh! :lol:

 

Did a good job tracking that place down Stew btw V nice

 

But if anyone is ever on Skye - try the Alba restaurant in Broadford - just on the main road (on the left hand side- big sign) they do a mean Haggis and blackpudding stack with drambui cream
