Quick Wheel Question

Just wondering if the Rays wheels and normal cast 6 spoke wheels take the same size tyres and are the same width offset etc?

 

Reason i ask is I am considering buying a car with the normal as cast rims and then buying a set of the forged rays ones and it would be cheaper if I didn't have to buy new tyres as well.

Yes they do use the same tyre sizes front and rear, offset's are probably the same as well.

+1 Tyres are interchangeable (if you have the correct ones on anyway) although the Rays are a touch wider at the rear.

I'd also keep hold of the originals as they make for good winter wheels so your rays stay nice and shiny, and they don't tend to fetch that much when sold on anyway.

aren't the 6 spoke 18 rays forged anyway. I think you mean the OEM 6 spoke wheel to the rays
