Revsport Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 nitros Rather good guess. Speaking to Dastek about an acive nos controler and unichip at the moment. Only thing is the cost £1700 fully fitter and tuned. Should take the car to 400bhp with it running. What do you guys think Quote
M13KYF Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 more importantly where's my prize for guessing it. :kicking Quote
Revsport Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 im going to phone a few other places about prices as 1700 seems a bit steep TBH. Going for a 100hp shot Quote
Revsport Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 You missed the last page LOL :teeth: Quote
Removed Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 jeeesus! good luck with that! quite a few US cars running it reliably, might wanna do a search though to make sure.... I know Dastek is localish to you so makes sense, but the price they quoted you is way too much! Quote
scoobylawGT4 Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 How much do refils cost, and what would that translate too per go/shot or what ever it is you call it when the magic switch is flicked! Quote
hagar Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 You missed the last page LOL :teeth: No I didn't Quote
Revsport Posted April 22, 2006 Author Posted April 22, 2006 Its a more tuned wat of running Nitrous than the flick a switch way. They instal a Unichip and tune the car then a nitrous maximiser which puts in the Nitrous at a certain point in each gear. With the maximiser linked to the unichip this sorts out the A/F ratio to make it a safer running. Only question is the price 2k more and your buying FI Quote
Removed Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 yup, is it worth it then? or should you save a bit longer? Quote
StephenG Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 more importantly where's my prize for guessing it. :kicking and mine... And I only guessed once! Quote
StephenG Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 I didn't know if it was the right answer anyway... AND I said 'Nitrous' and you said 'nitros' Quote
Guest prescience Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 i said it first, you just copied. Sorry mate, but you said 'nitros' and I'm sure Stephen and others thought you were referring to some kind of performance confectionery item I see Stephen agrees Quote
