Will a late 2007 bonnet (with the bulge) fit earlier models?

Hi

Will a late 2007 bonnet (with the bulge) fit all earlier models? The late 2007 bonnet is made of aluminium - is the older bonnet made of steel?

There's no reason I know of why it won't fit. IIRC, however, all models have ally bonnets.

Cant see any problem, it wont work the other way though.

I was under the impression from a dealer over my end of the world, that the pinnings (where it attaches) the older models are slightly different due to the engine layout in the newer models???

they are the same fit I think we had an engine bay comparison session at the donut meet last week - they have move the engine up a bit and the strut but the bonnet fit is the same I think just with its bulge!

Anyone know a good address to get the new bonnet from? It's for a friend... I'm not too keen on the new design.
