yeah, i get what you're saying - better in my pocket than theirs - I guess there's an element of just wanting to give your precious car what you 'think' is the best.

Maybe in a track environment when your sitting on the redline most of the time it'd be better but most of my driving is crawling through traffic. My avg speed meter hasnt been reset since i bought the car in December and its sitting at an average of 16mph. I'm going for the cheap stuff next time.

One other advantage of the good stuff, local garage has limited the sale of unleaded to £30 as they are running out, cheekily asked if that applied to superunleaded and they said have as much as you want :D
