Soft top conversion.

hi there, 350z is one of my dream cars; and im actively looking for a 350z gt4 but they seem to be quite rare under 12,000 pound this seems unlikely to attain and my secodnary options is to purchase a 350z soft top and convert it to a hard top, so i was wondering of anyone has purchased a soft top nissan 350z and converted it to a hard top, and if so how did it go?. i work with a fabricator who claims that he could fabricate a hard top for my future 350z that is also detatchable as this would be desirable. I cant seem to find any aftermarket systems that offer a hard top conversion.

There are 30+ 350z for sale on autotrader right now.  Not sure why you'd choose to go to the trouble and cost of converting a convertable to a coupe, just buy a coupe.  But sure it could be done, anything can be done with enough patience, time and money.
