LED tail lights is not direct fit

Hi,

 

Has anyone had this issue.

 

I have a 2005 GT4, bought i set of facelift LED rear tail lights and its not a direct fit, the connectors won't fit into the LED tail lights.

My standard tail light connector,

 

Whats my options other than messing around with the wiring.

I've had this, the plug tab will need a trim - see the below

Thanks for that, will give that i try this weekend,

Yes you need to either trim the connectors above or what I did this time was manage to get the correct connector from a breaker car and remove the connector from the car and repin the correct version on.  Actually quicker to to do than trimming the 3 bits of plastic off each side.

Only x1 tab on each plug needs addressing
