stuey Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 just about to buy one of these.................. is it any good.............. http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/c ... archvision Quote
Chris`I Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Its a 12MP camera, Currys just cant type Not heard anything about it, so cant comment. When I got the missus a Canon IXUS 860IS, I nearly bought the cheaper Canon IXUS 75, which is meant to be good and a bit cheaper than the Kodak. Amazon do them We've been more than happy with the 860IS, giving my 350D a run for its money in good lighting conditions (as they share the same image processor). Gets a good review at DPReview I think ( http://www.dpreview.com/news/0702/07022 ... sd1000.asp ) Quote
stuey Posted May 6, 2008 Author Posted May 6, 2008 after a long chat with the advisor about this camera he siad that kodaks are most frequently returned for repair... so he recommended this instead ........... so i bought it.... http://www.ukdigitalcameras.co.uk/__4_p ... l#features Quote
Chris`I Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Finepix are also meant to be good cameras. Glad you didnt go with the Kodak, didnt want to diss them but they're not meant to be very good. Plenty of piccies at the Wales run then?! Quote
martinmac Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Good choice Stuey, had a Kodak and there were major problems with the battery life. Quote
AK350Z Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Salesman did you a favour there! I'm a fan of my Canon A70, dropped it loads of times, and it just keeps going Quote
