AndersFTM Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 Hi all, I’ve paid a deposit on an 11 plate 370z roadster (auto) with 19k miles on the clock. This will be my first Z and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of it. I’m looking to go and test drive the car on Monday ahead of purchasing it. With the car at that age and mileage, is the gallery gasket something I should already be considering? also, any suggestions on what to look out for while test driving? any advice is hugely appreciated!! HEADPHONES Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Congratulations on your incoming chariot. I'm an owner of a much older 05 zed so not so knowledgeable on your questions. I'm sure others will be along with more help. Welcome to the OC anyway Loads of good info here. Sometimes I find it easier to use Google to search info on the OC rather than using the dedicated search function. Eg type 350z-uk.com gallery gaskets It'll throw up lots of threads.... https://www.google.com/search?q=350z-uk+gallery+gaskets&oq=350z-uk+gallery+gaskets&aqs=chrome..69i57.13603j0j7&client=ms-android-xiaomi-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8 Quote

Andy_Muxlow Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Hi and welcome along buddy. The only way to check is to get the oil pressure checked. Unfortunately these cars don't have an oil pressure gauge. But saying that they can go at anytime really. So would be better to get it checked. Quote
AndersFTM Posted April 10, 2021 Author Posted April 10, 2021 Brill, thanks for the advice all 👍 Quote
