Muffler

Sorry if this has been covered before but being new to the forum I haven't seen anything about it, what I'd like is a replacement for the end muffler, not the pipes, I just want to get a better sound from the exhaust by replacing the end muffler with a Bolt on alternative, is there such a thing available, thanks for any replies.

There's plenty of options for replacing the rear muffler here in the UK - a fair few vendors make 'short tails' that replace the rear section with either resonated or non-resonated sections. Torqen Resonated Short Tails

 

Given your location though, I'm not too sure who'd be best to go with as I'd imagine postage would be extortionate.

Hi, yep that's the killer, freight, unfortunately Perth is a great place to live but so isolated ,we get murdered in freight costs.

@Chops Yeah I thought that'd be the case. I'm not too sure who to suggest to be honest for a bolt on solution given your location. I'd imagine your best bet would be to go to a local exhaust fabricator.

As Silverthorn has said surely there must be an exhaust specialist somewhere near you who could help?  That would be your best bet.

I had a look at the site you put in your message and the price of the parts plus Freight would be ridiculous, unfortunately finding someone over here who can fabricate is difficult , they struggle with anything not popular.

I thought there might be a muffler that could be a straight swap over, I think it's a good sports car that needs a little better sound to it , not loud all the time just when you give it a bit of a squirt.
