JAllen28 Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Just about to buy some Vogtland 30mm lowering springs and wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of some decent rear camber arm, toe bolts and lockout kits. I can only find the tarmac sportz one at the minute. Also what are people opinions on 30mm springs with 19" wheels? Any rubbing with 245/35 and 265/35 tyres? Quote
davey_83 Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Will depend on the wheel offset, you'll have issues with anything lower than et18 I would imagine. Fronts shouldn't cause an issue as the arches are rolled from factory. Quote

davey_83 Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Fair few folks run that low so should be fine driving wise, main issue will be clearance over speed bumps and uneven road surfaces. Quote
davey_83 Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 How mine sits now on -30mm Apex springs 1 Quote

davey_83 Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 Cheers pal, these are Apex springs and the spats are Nismo replicas. Springs sit perfect when coupled with 19's possibly a bit too low with 18's Quote
RoadHog Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 Thanks for coming back on this appreciate it. i'll have a gander for those spats. I think i'll likely be going with 18s unless i find a steal on some 19s ... so il probably go with some different springs.. From what I've seen lurking around the forum, for 18s a 20/25mm drop tends to be the key Quote
davey_83 Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 No worries, you'll find the mention of 20/25mm relates to hub spacers not lowering springs Quote
RoadHog Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 oh okay, thank you.. my bad. though i have done some more snooping and appears that the tein springs are the tried and tested Quote
