Fast_Furious_2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Hi, I'm fairly new to the forum. I've had my 350Z for almost a year now and it's due to get the front wheel bearing replaced. I took it to my local garage (who I've had good work done by before) and he said he'd need to order it in, fast forward about 4 days later when it's arrived. I go in to see him and he says its cost him £280 for the bearing from his dealer! this seems to be very expensive for a front bearing. I've had a look online and several different sites sell them from around £40-£50 but euro car parts sell them for £250 so I'm a bit confused. Is he ripping me off or is that the going price for a new bearing? please help a fellow Z owner out Quote
coldel Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 (edited) Tarmac is a trader on here @Tarmac@TarmacSportz and their website has this, is this what you are after? Certainly not knocking them out at nearly three hundred quid. https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/tarmac-sportz-nissan-350z-03-09-oe-spec-front-wheel-bearing.html Edited June 10, 2020 by coldel Quote
rabbitstew Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Guess it depends on which supplier your garage uses. ECP & CP4Less do them for £140 for the front ones, tarmac as above does them for £75. Ive no idea what Nissan charge for genuine ones but I suspect it would be a lot more. Quote
