dcash5
What speed rating does Nissan recommend for tyres, at the moment i am running 'Y' which is up to 186mph, will all the will in the world limitless amounts of go fast stripes (and having the fastest colour) - Im not even gonna ge close to that!!! heard rumour that insurance is invalid if you dip below the intended speed rating set by the manufacturer! What are the stock tyres and what do people tend to run.
Stew
I'd say stick with that. You don't want the insurance company to have any reason not to pay out!
sl114
+1, they will use anything to dip out of paying if they can

Sarnie
The standard 'stones are 91W front and 96W rear http://www.nissan.co.uk/NMGB/en_GB/site ... /specs.pdf
AndySpak
Mine are Z-rated but I've no idea what Nissan say they should be.
Tere
I believe Z is W and above. W rated is stock since the Z speed limiter is below the tire speed rating. If you have the speed limiter flashed out and want to run the autobahn at 185, then switch to Y rated.

And if it could it would take about 10 miles, It took me 2 miles of runway to even get near the 155 limit.......
