Osakakev Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Hi, Is this the correct diff oil for 2006 Rev Up JDM Import? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193230691486 It looks different (but same product code) than the one from Tarmac Sports but it's out of stock https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/tarmac-sportz-genuine-nissan-350z-370z-differential-oil-2-litres.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwzN71BRCOARIsAF8pjfhk6RHOG8sSZYOUMYFDMGEZZt5_kB8z06Tiulq7Gjz6WWlys--bfCUaAiauEALw_wcB Cheers Quote
SHEZZA Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 I’m not sure. However you could always try https://www.cougarstore.co.uk/nissan-350z-genuine-nissan-differential-fluid-oil--2-x-1-litre-62-p.asp https://h-dev.co.uk/product/nissan-differential-oil-for-350z-and-370z-2-litres/ http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/ to name a few forum traders. ZMANALEX Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 The correct oil choice will depend on what diff you are running. All UK cars run a VLSD while some imports run just an LSD, then you also have aftermarket diff options as well. So first step is to identify what diff is in your car. Nissan 350z OEM VLSD runs with: Nissan KE907 99932 Quote
Osakakev Posted May 10, 2020 Author Posted May 10, 2020 Thanks Alex Auction sheet states LSD What oil would you recommend for that? Quote
ZMANALEX Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 I would not go with what the auction sheet states I am afraid. Any good Hypoy 80-90 Mineral oil will work in an LSD Quote
Osakakev Posted May 10, 2020 Author Posted May 10, 2020 Thank you! I'll get a mechanic to confirm before I change it Cheers Quote
Osakakev Posted May 10, 2020 Author Posted May 10, 2020 Sorry, how can I/mechanic tell if it's a vlsd or just an LSD? It's an St model with brembos Cheers Quote
