9.5 j wheels help

Recommended Posts

just managed to pick up a set of 18s for my Z , the rears are 9.5j ET 22

I have 25mm spacers on the rear with 8.5 .

looking to get some new tyres fitted , I will go 40s not 45s as I have 245 x 40 x 18 on the front. I am looking for a set up to fill the arch . what tyre size will I need , with or with out spacers .

if you have a set up like this please could you put up a photo.

thanks.

I'd probably go 265x40 with those... Used to have 275x40's on my 10J rears.

As for spacers, try it, see what it looks like then decide. Mine were ET12, and poked out a little, so I'd _guess_ that at ET22, you'll be about 5mm inside the arch.

A 245/40 up front with a 275/35 rear will give equal sized sidewalls so might not be a bad idea imo. I assume, based on the 245/40's, that the fronts are 8.5J?

yes mate 8.5j up front with 245 x 40 x 18 .so you would go with 275 x 35 ?

I have 245 x 40 on the rear but there is quite a gap between the top of the wheel and the arch , will this fill it ?PC160296.JPG.00d3a72f98864b0fb5c769efe9a5c02d.JPG
