Avatar change

Hi, technophobe here. I have just been trying to change my Avatar but without success. Would somebody please put me out of my misery and explain in idiot terms how I go about it please

Go to your profile & theres a little icon on your current profile picture. Click on that and then choose an option for a picture. They can only be a certain size though
