Changing the PCV valve

According to this YouTube video this should be changed on Zeds around 10 years old.

 

Have many other owners changed this out?

 

I've recently been needing to top up my oil every 1 to 2 thousand miles.

Zed is a 13 yr old DE

Almost 60k on the clock.

Had it from new and never abused from cold.

 

Is it as simple as he shows in the video or are there things that could go wrong leaving my car stranded on the drive.

These can be removed and checked to see if working correctly.

I changed mine a few weeks back. It's dead simple and takes probably ten minutes at most with hand tools.

Even if it ain't broke, probably due a change and then I'll book in for the garage to check over the issue later if it continues
