Takes up a lot of slack when launching,much slicker gear changes and perfect for Drifting but you will hear extra transmission noise/vibration. 2 years old and in perfect condition with original packaging. These mounts are £100 plus shipping. I’m looking for £55 including postage.

IS it solid or stiffened rubber? Just thinking of the change in noise/vibration totally solid is going to be quite a lot of increase but a stiffer rubber shouldn't be too bad?

My uprated transmission mount improved feel massively, without any unwanted effects. Although there was a change in vibration frequency / tone, it wasn't noticeably worse than OEM, but instead became a more pleasant deep rumble. Edited August 31, 2018 by OnlyAfro
andy james Posted August 31, 2018 Author Posted August 31, 2018 Correct the mount contains rubber but less of it compared to the standard mount which basically is a U shape bracket filled with rubber which is why you get so much wheel hop and tramping when launching.
