Went to leave work today and my 04 350z , hks supercharged ( older version of the two hks kits available ) .. now flutters after even a small rev (before it would be a nice whoosh from the diverter valve) . I've had the car supercharged for over a year now with no issues. Any idea on what's coildnbe causing it? ive check the vacuum lines to the d/v aswell as the rest of the intake but after that I'm At a loss. Edited July 3, 2018 by Tomb Quote
andybp Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 definitely sounds like the bov not opening so if vacuum line is good then possibly valve itself I had to replace one because it was stuck closed Quote
Tomb Posted July 6, 2018 Author Posted July 6, 2018 Fixed. There was a small tear in the bypass valve diaphragm. Luckily the legend @judiciousjoe had a spare bypass valve in his draw and sent it to me free of charge :o That’s why I love the Z community great bunch of guys always willing to help out.
