Heater/Blower on full

Hi all, 

 

I've recently removed the headunit and most of the interior in my Z (drift project).

 

I've since noticed that when the car is started, the blowers seem to stay on even when switched off, and the heater comes on even though the temp is set on low. 

 

Has anyone head of an issue similar to this before?

Have you reconnected or perhaps damaged the ribbon on the module?

 

In stock if required, if you have damaged it.

I may have done. It was removed initially, so the blowers defaulted to full with no lights on the button.

 

I then reconnected the buttons and it's now playing up

Definitely sounds like an issue with the ribbon connector. Removing the ribbon to get the centre console off (and having the key turned in the ignition) gives this exact behaviour.

Check the ribbon is reconnected properly. If it isn’t it’s likely been damaged in the remove/reinstall process.
