Not so new (ex) 370z roadster owner saying hello

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

Not so new owner here.  Well to be correct not even an owner anymore...

Confession time - I had my auto 370 roadster for 4 years from July 2013 until I traded her in September last year for a Subaru XV. I know, even the dealer was confused as to why I was changing for the XV!

My 370 was my fun car and she just wasn't getting much use, becoming an expensive driveway ornament. The practical car was a Meriva, but lets not go there... The zed was a fantastic car, especially with the Ark Grip cat back. Top down with the blip on the down change never failed to bring a smile to my face :-). Awesome.

Anyway, 4 years is a long time for me to keep a car and it was time for a change so the XV became the daily and happily enough my brother was selling his Civic a Type R (FN2) and I jumped at the chance. I've always loved driving his civic, which is standard apart from a HKS induction kit. Induction noise suits that car so well.

But enough about me and my non-zed cars.  I've actually been registered with the forum for over 4 years and apart from a few PM contacts with other members haven't taken the opportunity to contribute, although I have gained hugely from the fantastic advice and the banter.

I would like to make up for my lack of previous participation and give something back to the forum so I'm going to stick around for a bit and will happily share any knowledge I gained during my 4 years of roadster ownership.

I will in due course be putting up my Ark Grip for sale.

For the moment I'll leave you with a picture of my old zed beside the best road sign I came across...

Hi Andy and thanks for the welcome!

I'm aware of the forum rules in relation to items for sale and the minimum number of posts so hopefully you'll understand if I don't go into details for the Ark at the moment. I also need to source new gaskets to go with it.  When it does go up it will be a reasonable price though.

Headphones - it is a fantastic sign isn't it?! It's on the road between Alford and Bridge of Alford in Aberdeenshire if any other 370 owners are interested.
