Fitted Extreme clutch, now the gear change is mega stif

Just had a extreme clutch put on my DE, the clutch pedal is stiff which I don't mind, but now the gear change is very very stiff, sometimes it's even hard to put it in gear, the garage spent a lot of time adjusting it to make it work but I still finds it far to stiff, anyone got experience of this after they changed their clutch?

 

Ps the slave was replaced at the same time and pedal was adjusted

Does it go into gear ok when engine is off and not using the clutch?

Yeah it's goes in like butter when the engine is off clutch in or out, but when the engines on clutch in it's very stiff 🙈

It sounds like clutch drag, as if the clutch isn't dis-engaging evenly to me.

mine was a bit like this in first gear but seems perfectly fine now. did the garage have issues bleeding the system after changing the slave?

The cars perfectly fine when driving but it just that when it's at a complete stop it's hard to get into gear, seems like the clutch grip with the tiniest amount of pedal travel, but just read the invoice it's says the clutch will self adjust over time so will report back after a while

Contemplating an xtreme clutch set up but I was warned by a Nissan mechanic clutch sticking will happen as the OEM clutch is self adjusting

Yeah it was fine after a couple of hundred miles, the super low bite point and stiff gearchange gone, it's like butter now.

If they don't grease the input shaft when they're fitting the new clutch it will do that. It's obviously freed up a bit with driving so will be fine now. Extreme clutches are great bits of kit and won't just stick on their own
