wanta350 Posted March 6, 2008 Share Posted March 6, 2008 nice one matey, i too am a PM...passed in march 06!!!! two years ago !! time flies.... and no, it doesn't really help you do your job better... i think you're either a good pm or you're not......obviously exp helps....but there are so many bad pms who spend all day doing their prince2 docs, and not actually helping the project to completion.... i knew this old guy who had a 500MB folder full of various logs, reports, etc... he was useless... You were right about the extra work in the evenings Kev. They helped me understand a lot more than i orignally thought from the class notes. You had both on the friday! Wow that is madness, we had the full course monday to wednesday, foundation thursday 12am, recap thursday afternoon, then practitioner exam 9am on the friday! I had such an headache by the Friday afternoon. I was forced to drink loads of beer to compensate on Friday evening and I'm not joking.... You do know you are supposed to re-take after 5 years. Think it was about 5 years ago for me.... That is right, the qualification runs out after 5 years, however you are expected to retake the test between 3 and 5 years after you qualified last.
