AliveBoy Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 not entirely relevant, but MOOG make suspension parts for a lot of the NASCAR teams. Quote

MDMetal Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Awesome sauce I need to sort my arms this year, There's a £10 difference between manufacturers, is there a perceived "best" or do people see them both equal? Quote

MDMetal Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 SIlyl question, I'm going to be ordring a few arms and things, I see neither of these guys have the upper front arms, the "U" shaped ones, they all seem to be adjustable. Does this reflect the fact the upper arms just don't wear out or do people tend to press the bushes rather than replace the arms? Just wondering what makes the most sense if I want to sort the whole front suspension out. Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 Hello buddy, Dorman do these arms as well, I'll have them added on the website today, they're £119 each side. Will post links here shortly. Quote
MDMetal Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 (edited) Awesome, is there anything you can't sort? As a stupid question I asked elsewhere, what do you recomend, swapping all the arms wholesale or pressing the bushes and replacing with Poly? Edited May 5, 2017 by MDMetal 1 Quote

MDMetal Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Cheers! I edited my last post after you read it but I've been asking if it's recommended to swap the arms wholesale or press the bushes and replace with PU? The bushes are cheaper overall however the pressing will no doubt cost something from a local friendly garage. Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 You might need to get some quotes for pressing the new bushes in the arms from your local garages. It will also depend on what you want to do with the car. For a track orientated car, you can go for poly bushes from Whiteline, Energy or SuperPro, for top quality stuff you can go for solid bushes from SPL. If you're happy with the OEM feeling of the car, I'd go for the arms as it is much easier to replace. Swapping all the bushes won't be an easy job, some only come out with the grinder Quote
MDMetal Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Perfect, that's what I was thinking, swap the lot myself on the driveway get it all aligned professionally and good to go Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 Perfect, that's what I was thinking, swap the lot myself on the driveway get it all aligned professionally and good to go Correct, much easier. They will last for the next 10 years easily, they're OEM quality Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 Oh, one last thing, drop me a PM once you've added all your products in the cart, I'll see what I can do in terms of discount Quote
