MarkW Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Is there any plan for meeting up the night before in Chester? I'm not sure what time we will be driving up yet, but if there is a meeting point/time we would try to come along and say Hi to everyone......
martinmac Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I would be happy for one of the locals to recommend somewhere wioth a car park for early evenming greets and the odd coke and skimmed milk
red or zed Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 you could take a lil drive to the grovesnor in pulford again- large-ish car park and a fine selection of milks and fizzy drinks... only problem with chester itself is the lack of places with big car parks
martinmac Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Sounds nice bud. Think its also races that weekend, dont know if that will have an impact. Take it you will be driving
red or zed Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 think the races are the 7th, 8th and 9th...went past the sign this morn on way to work but cant remember exactly... not sure if i'll be driving- my shopping trolley will look a bit out of place in a car park full of coupes!

xStric9x Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 There is the New Orleans which is by the river, not sure to much about parking as its a saturday night or there is the Cheshire cat which is just outside chester and right next to a canal and has a big car park.
Chris`I Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 There is the New Orleans which is by the river, not sure to much about parking as its a saturday night or there is the Cheshire cat which is just outside chester and right next to a canal and has a big car park. I think we should employ Mike as our tour guide! Fortunately St Davids supposidly has free internet, so can keep up to date with goings on while I'm in my room. If all else fails, call me when you guys are about to leave to the car wash
xStric9x Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 I just would'nt want to make myself a fool by leading everybody round and round trying to find a pub with a good size car park and not so busy. I will have a good think
