Alpinaman Posted February 5, 2017 Share Posted February 5, 2017 I used to drive between Derbyshire and Solihull weekly as my fiance lived there... The roads from Lichfield to Asbourne to Buxton are nice,quick but only a few scary bits..... Plenty of roads to dive off inbetween too,and the odd pub for light refreshments if needed.. You tend to get nice views over hill passed, however Coleshill to Atherstone is good and over looks Birmingham & Solihull.
