Does the Velocity plenum chamber design in the Ultimate package sacrifice the strut bar out of interest?

No. I had one on mine with OEM strut brace. It is VERY close and did occasionally rub when driven hard due to the rocking of the engine (I had 450bhp) , so I just put a couple of washers under the strut brace to give a little more space. No issues whatsoever.

Best looking engine bay mod out there. :D
