There is a bit of drone between 2-3k rpm which could become tiresome if used daily for longer runs. I only added the hfc's as I got a good deal on them. The exhaust sounds considerably deeper (meaner) with them but obviously the drone is increased a bit, plus there is the hiss when the revs drop off (changing gear etc) which I'm not keen on.
