Jk-boi Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 So i have the buddyclub pro spec exhaust from cougerstore, been very happy with it, build quality, sound and fitment all spot on, but the other day finally got round to needing the bungs as my daily has broken and i like my neighbours. I know the bungs need to be interfereance fit but one would just not go in, the one that did was extreamly tight to fit and even worse to get out, should the bungs really be that tight or should i look at trying to get replacements? p.s im up at 6am for work.....and this morning so were my neighbours (Whether they wanted to or not ) Quote
davey_83 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 does the bung that wont fit, fit into the other tail pipe? Quote
GMballistic Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Have you cleaned up the insides of the exhaust pipes? If they're all black & coked up still that might be enough to stop the bungs from fitting properly. Quote
Jk-boi Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Tried both pipes and gave them a good clean, even wiped a little wd over the bungs to help them get in, still can't get the one in, was going to try giving them a light sanding maybe? Quote
GMballistic Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 If they're not going in then I think sanding the edges of the bungs with some wet & dry paper might be your next step to getting them to fit. Quote
Jumzo Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I used to have the buddy club and the bungs are a very tight fit. Few chaps with a rubber mallet gets them in fine. Slide hammer is ideal for removal. Quote
