I presume he will be cutting the inner fender section too and folding it up to meet the outer skin and either welding or using filler to seal them back together so the rust wont matter.

Did you not check underneath before you cut the arches?

Yeah, look at some of the first posts, I did the whole underside. The rust in the arch was under body filler, nothing to worry about though, it's all cut out now anyway.

So after a busy weekend I finally got some time on the car again today. Bay tidied up and engine in. She runs so that's a relief after all the immobilizer issues.

Test fitted the 12j gtrd and with a 50mm spacer they should just sit nice.

Most the interior is gone now and heater matrix deleted (I've just blocked up the ports coming from the engine which deletes the bleed valve but my thinking is that's pretty much just to bleed the matrix, am I right or being silly?)

I'm thinking about doing a rocket bunny zed and been looking at the chassis mounted wings from USA not that cheap but very different and suits a rb kit down to a tee
