Changing the Clutch myself and bricking it

Recommended Posts

I'm going to try and order a new Exedy clutch kit from ebay soon as they're only 250 notes and money is tight right now...

I already have a lightweight fly and hopefully this shouldn't need to be replaced.

So the clutch is slipping like mad now when cold (Works fine when hot) If i floor it in the any gear i get revs and not much else. I have looked at the adjustment thread for the pedal but i don't think this will work.

I'm going to try and attempt this myself with some friends who have done this kind of thing before but never on a 350z.

I notice a squeaking from the pedal when on the bite point should i be worried about this / check anything / replace anything while i'm at the job??

Anything i should know about before undertaking the challenge?

ta in advance

Matt

If your Ebay purchase is from Techniclutch or NCD then best to avoid at all costs.

Why is that? Bad service, faulty parts?

Just got off the phone with a company in London will ship to my local Argos for free within a few days sounds ideal
