Ceejay29 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Hi Guys, Dropped the Zed off for a bit of work today and have been told that the handbrake has failed; needs a whole new mechanism (even though it passed the MOT last week!) Does anybody have one going? I don't fancy buying new from main dealer. Thanks Quote

Ceejay29 Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 I don't know Presumed that it was the entire handbrake - lever etc The mechanic has had a look from the underside and mentioned that it has been repaired in the past (welded). Its apparently extremely tough to engage and release. Quote

Yeah, should have this if it is the lever and ratchet mechanism, however not back in the shop until the weekend so if in a hurry just get it from Jon at ET. Quote
