Mot advisory, loose ground/earth wire?

Came up as an advisory, have searched forum and Google but had no luck, is this easily located and sorted?

I also have a lot of crackling coming from my sub, I've checked the wires so could the loose earth wire be causing it?

Quite a few earths in the engine bay, some under the airbox (unlikely they would see them) some on the front of the engine, they might cause a little interference but it's more likely to be an wire for the sub unless it's the Bose sound system in which case search.

Trace all the earth (-) wires in the engine bay including the battery, remove and clean all the contact surfaces and bolt them back up, should cure the problem,, earth contact corrosion is one of the major causes of electrical problems on most modern cars.

.....or, go back to the MOT garage and ask them to explain?!

It actually says 'offside front earth wire loose' so I'm guessing its something to do with under the bonnet ill have a look tonight. Surely if its just doing up a bolt of something then they would of done that for me? :/
