High temp paint on engine...

...some of the metal parts on my engine are looking a bit sorry for themselves, so thought about working back as much as I can to a smooth surface and painting them with VHT paint. Now, its going to be difficult use a spray because some parts are not easily accessible, has anyone tried using good old fashion paint with a brush on stuff? How have they found the experience, how did it look once done? I am hoping to put a nice gloss aluminium colour on.

Coldel I've used brush on VHT paint loads of times on my vehicles engine parts & brake calipers without issue. Nothing fancy either, usually just a Halfords gloss black VHT paint.

Actually did my old Zeds plenum with good old Halfords VHT gloss black paint: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85949-thanks-lyndzzz-carling-plenum-painted/
