Which component speakers?

Best set of 6.5" Components for £100ish?

 

Was looking at a set of Focals, but there cheapest is £97

 

So what would you guys suggest? Would a set of high end cheaper brand be better than a set of low end expensive brand?

You don't need to match sub to speaker in terms of brand. Really you need to go to Halfrauds and have a play with their speakers on display, work out what sounds best to your ear, then come away and order from the interweb.

I ended up scrapping the idea as my bank declined the transfer thinking it was fraud Took it as a sign

I run Focals all round. You could keep an eye out on Ebay for some ... used items but a higher spec for your budget
