Pritchard Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 When are people swapping out their OEM shocks, aside from leaks or MOT failures. im hitting 60k now, and its starting to feel a little sloppy on hard corners. the 'corner push' still does the nice one bounce though. couldnt find much on the searches. think it might me time for me to Coil Over. Pritchard Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 mmm, casual bump? i thought someone might have piped up by now Quote
Ekona Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 They go when they go. Depends on usage more than anything, so impossible to quantify. Personally I change by 100k if not before, but if you feel yours are going then change them. Quote
RobPhoboS Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 My ones were well and truly done by 80k. I think I remember reading around 60-70k is about all you're good for from oem. Quote
kano Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 My car's done 89k on the original shocks. How do you know if they're gone? The back feels crap but then again my W brace has completely rotted through.. Quote
