Having read this I do wonder about the merits of pressure washing engine bays discussed at:

Given what has happened to James 852 that's fair warning a simple clean up could lead to a big bill :scare:

 

It's all in the prep work. Spend time covering anything electrical with cling film and then use just a sprinkle of water you will be fine. :thumbs:

 

But I agree, free use of a pressure washer can be detrimental to the cause.....!!

yep im just glad to have my car back. thing is it been raining all day here so it stays at home. not risking hiting another puddle. there is a green spry gel which dose not conduct electic so you can spry it all over the fuse box and circuit board. and any other eletric parts. so doing that tomorrow. dont know what its call but will put the name if it on here tomorrow. may be worth you jet washers use some just incase.
