Hi

I went for new tyres at the weekend and the fitter pointed out that a weld on a crack in my front alloy had failed, and a crack around an inch long had reappeared. I drove home very gingerly and am now looking for a replacement, but it seems as though the silver 18" Rays (Track 1) are hard to find. So far I have managed to find one, requiring reconditioning, for £1200!

Does anyone have any idea where I could find myself one (or even two) for a front wheel on a 2005 Zed? I'm not keen on the idea of getting a failed weld re-welded.

All ideas gratefully received.

I have a friend who damaged one of her Rays and ended up getting a new complete set of something else instead. Her car is a 2008. I will ask her if she's still go her wheels - it's worth a try. Where are you based?

I can do you some aftermarket wheels for about half the price if you fancied a change from the Rays.

Failing that they often come up for sale £350 -£500

Is that for ONE second hand wheel???

Plenty 350Z wheels in stock including Rays and base model wheels and GT4

Just to be clear, may be a plan to post up a picture of what you actually require as I am not sure what you mean by Track 1.

Hi.

I'm based in Warwickshire.

I don't have a picture of my actual wheel on me at present (I'm at work and the car is parked up at home), but the "Track 1" reference came from this article: http://www.350z-tech.com/wiki/index.php?title=Wheel_Specifications#Track_18.22_v.1 as that seems to be what I have.

Given the choice I would rather just buy the one replacement, assuming I can get it to match. I don't want to have to muck around with insurance declarations and quite like the look of the wheels I have. If I have to buy a set, then so be it, but I'd rather not as there's no point in having 7 wheels when the car only needs four! :)

Yeah, that is just the standard Rays wheel.

I have singles in stock, just drop me a PM if I can help further.
