davey_83 Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Notice how each of those promotional videos show the tyre operating and shifting water on the passenger side...... Interesting 1 Quote
Superman001 Posted June 11, 2016 Author Posted June 11, 2016 Not used the Zed much recently as I noticed it needed new auxiliary belts and its hard getting it booked in as I work 430 miles from home. Gave her a quick wash last night and got the garage to fit new Gates belts this morning. Quote
Superman001 Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) Looking forward to tomorrow. I'm getting a Misimoto uprated radiator fitted with new silicone hoses and racing thermostat as I've found the OEM radiator inadequate at keeping temperatures down when stuck in gridlock traffic. Also got some Eibach 20mm spacers to go on front and rear. After these upgrades are fitted its going to the bodyshop to have 2 panels on the passenger side resprayed to get rid of a 5ft key mark that the neighbour decided to do about 5 months ago. Been waiting a long time to sort these things out so can't wait to see the results. Edited August 21, 2016 by Superman001 Quote
Superman001 Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 Here's what the 5ft long key mark looks like. Quote
Superman001 Posted August 26, 2016 Author Posted August 26, 2016 (edited) Zed is back from having the Misimoto parts fitted, passenger side respray and 20mm Eibach spacers. Edited August 26, 2016 by Superman001 Quote

Tom_K Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Real shame to see the key; it makes me sick that that the scum that do that kind of thing are free to roam the streets. Glad you've got it sorted and it's looking lovely and clean 1 Quote
davey_83 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Why did you replace the OE radiator out of interest? Awful to see the key'd side, tramps who did it such a poor place in their lives right now. Quote
Superman001 Posted September 5, 2016 Author Posted September 5, 2016 Why did you replace the OE radiator out of interest? Awful to see the key'd side, tramps who did it such a poor place in their lives right now. I wasn't overly impressed with the OE radiator after being stuck in gridlock traffic for 6 hours once and the temperature started to climb. Its mainly for peace of mind Quote
Superman001 Posted October 8, 2016 Author Posted October 8, 2016 (edited) Dirty girl in need of a wash, working away from home so it will have to wait Edited October 8, 2016 by Superman001 Quote
Superman001 Posted October 30, 2016 Author Posted October 30, 2016 Weather was ok so managed to wash, polish and wax the Zed. Keep these in the car for emergencies. Quote
Superman001 Posted November 20, 2016 Author Posted November 20, 2016 The rear Pirelli P Zero's are nearly worn out and feel rubbish in the cold and wet so I've ordered a set of Uniroyal Rainsport 3's to match the fronts, hopefully find time to get them fitted next weekend. Quote
Superman001 Posted December 5, 2016 Author Posted December 5, 2016 (edited) Had these Uniroyal Rainsport 3's sat in the boot of the Accord for over a week, finally had time to go get them fitted. Only just fit. Edited December 5, 2016 by Superman001 Quote
Superman001 Posted December 11, 2016 Author Posted December 11, 2016 Just done the monthly fluid checks and only used 200ml of oil in the last 2000 miles. Had a go at cleaning up my daily's headlights as they were very cloudy. Polished them by hand with Gtechniq P1 then gave them a coat of Collinite 476 to protect. By no means perfect but very happy considering it only took 15 minutes by hand. Quote
Superman001 Posted December 16, 2016 Author Posted December 16, 2016 MOT passed yesterday with advisory on the discs being slightly pitted and corroded but not weakened. I will order discs, pads, fluid and lines after Christmas. Also the filter on the JWT pop charger has seen better days so I've ordered a new replacement to go on. Quote
