Will370z
I will never understand the unless the suns out you will have the roof up mentality. I had a bbr turbo mx5 and a rx7 fc convertible. The only time the roof was up was when it rained. Invest in a wolly hat and enjoy open top motoring Yup
Ekona
You don't even need the roof up if it's raining, just stay above 40mph Best drives I've ever had have been in the snow with the roof down, and the heater on max.
Jetpilot
I didnt have heated seats, well i did when i used to liberate my sisters amg slk (and air scarf, wonderful invention), roof down the vast majority of the time or you might as well have a coupe imho if your going to wait for the perfect day. I would still have a coupe as prefer the look and extra rigidity.
JurassicZ
If you set out to get a roadster then get a coupe, there WILL be one day, when the sun is out, and someone goes past in a roadster with the roof down and you are in a hot sweaty box. It was the thought I had when I was impatiently waiting for a "goodun" to turn up, I just knew I would kick myself for not holding out. Yea the sun don't always shine, but when it does.... It'll put a massive smile on your face... And if you want some sun, you can't beat a drive through the Alps to southern France and Italy. :-) This!!!!!!
JurassicZ
Vince, if you really wanted a roadster...wait until the right one comes along. You will always regret not ticking that box otherwise. Rob
